Are you using your time wisely?

Hey yall. It’s been a few days since I’ve spoke with my loyal following here. I’ve been finishing up a few sites. So, my time has been limited. Which brings me to today’s message: manage your time wisely.

It’s a challenge to do accomplish everything you would like to. However, the more successful types will find a way to manage their time. Time management is one of the most important facets of internet marketing to master. Shoot, it’s one of the most important facets of life to master for that matter. However, that’s beyond the scope of this post. So, we will focus on better time management for your online business.

Make a schedule

First of all, you’re gonna want to make sure you have some type of scheduling app or software that will help you. I like to use the Wunderlist app, but you can use whatever you like. Heck, sometimes, I just tell SIRI to schedule appointments for me and it works like a charm. If you are more old-fashioned (and there’s nothing wrong with that), you can use a pencil and a good ole notepad. Sometimes that’s the best way because you write it down physically and it gets engrained in your brain more. That’s just how we’re wired. You get it. So, yeah, make a schedule.

Schedule a few tasks a time

Now, that you have your scheduling tool, it’s time to schedule our tasks. Next, you should keep in mind that you don’t want to overload your schedule with too many tasks. The reason I say this is because you don’t want to overwhelm and discourage yourself. If you see 10 tasks that need to be done, you probably won’t even start because you think it’s too much work. However, if you see 2 or 3 “bite-sized” tasks, you will be more encouraged. The psychology behind this is that you find it less intimidating and, therefore, you will be more inclined to finish up your tasks. Basically, your playing Jedi Mind Tricks on yourself. Lol. Ok, moving on.

Take a small break after doing a couple tasks

Ok, now you’ve done a couple tasks on your list. Yippee! Now, it’s time for a small celebration. You can reward yourself with food or just relaxing for a half hour to get refocused on the rest of your tasks. Taking small breaks after finishing up a couple tasks can help you finish off the rest of your list alot easier. So, have a little snack or just get your mind off the task for a small amount of time. Don’t relax or eat too much though. We still have to finish up our schedule. Now, that we have taken a break, let’s keep going strong. Oh yeah!

Finish up your schedule like a champ!

Most of the time, the empowerment you get from finishing up even just a couple tasks will push you towards the finish line for the day. Now that you’ve checked off a couple tasks on the list, you will find that it gets easier by the day. Soon, you will be breezing through your tasks and wonder why you didn’t do it before. You will see your productivity go through the roof and a sense of accomplishment will start to encourage you. Remember, you are not going to finish up the whole project in a day. However, if you do a little at a time daily, you will finish and in a timely manner as well.

In closing

So, if you find yourself not making time for what’s important, schedule it out. Break it up into “bite-sized” tasks. Take small celebration breaks in between finishing up a couple tasks. Then, finish your day strong and be prepared to slay your projects like a beastmaster! The journey of a million miles begins with one step. So, take that step today and don’t hesitate. Remember, a rolling stone gathers no moss. So keep rolling! B0$$!
