Hey there bosses. How’s it going? Long time, no chat. Yeah, I know. Been grinding online on some other projects. But, of course, I haven’t forgotten my loyal followers and future bosses! Well, just wanted to remind everybody that ’tis the season to be jolly. But, you knew that already. Anyways, holidays are the best, aren’t they? Yes, they are. Pardon me as I sip on this egg nog for a sec. So, like I was saying. Gotta love the holidays y’all. A great time for family, reflection and chasing excellence. With that in mind, a lot of folks like to use this holiday time to work on improving their lives and their livelihoods (their businesses.) So, today’s thought is: Strive for Perfection.
Aim for the stars
You always want to strive for perfection. If you don’t aim for the stars, how you gonna reach the sky? The point being, you should aim high. Now, don’t get me wrong. It’s ok if you don’t get it perfect. Hardly anybody is perfect (present company excluded, of course haha). Moreover, most folks are far from perfect. What’s more important is that you do aim high, even if you fail, which you will plenty of times. You have to be ok with failing.
It won’t happen overnight
I have failed multiple times and gotten back up. It’s part of the learning process. Perfection will not come overnight for most people. It is something to be worked on and mastered as a craft. Perfection is a life-long commitment. So, don’t worry if you are not at the top of your game right away. Hardly anybody is. The important part to remember is continue to work on your craft without fail and with persistence.
Trust the process
Running a blog is not easy and many marketers simply lack the trust in the process. You have to trust the process. Many newbies will give up because they don’t have the patience to keep doing what they are doing. The successful marketers are the ones who don’t worry about the gains. They know perfection does not come overnight. So, they will continue to work on their blogs or projects and add more content as well as add value to their final product. You should be more concerned about making sure your blog looks good, has content and functions in an efficient manner. These should be your concerns when you are first creating your site. Monetization should be the last thing on your mind in the beginning stages.
Strive to have the cleanest looking, most content packed, highest value proposition blog and you will reap the benefits of monetization tenfold. Once you have a solid product, the monetization and traffic will be a lot easier to work on. The reason for that is people see the value in your blog and will naturally gravitate to it. They will also believe in you. They will trust that the webmaster of this awesome blog is striving for perfection, it will be just too obvious. You would be surprised what the look and feel of your website says about you. Yeah, so keep that in mind next time you decide to redesign your site. Excellence shows and so does BS. So, choose your side. Do you want to be just like the rest of the pack? Or, do you want to strive for perfection? B0$$!
